And Now...
From The Makers of Cold Water Omo...

Welcome to Avengers on the Radio, the only website devoted exclusively to the Sonovision radio series, The Avengers, produced and transmitted in South Africa between 6th December 1971 and 28th December 1973 and starring Donald Monat and Diane Appleby.

AOR offers a detailed series history, episode information, interviews, commentary and resources. We are proud to have been involved in the recovery of 19 (and a bit!) Avengers serials. You can read here about these finds and their subsequent restoration. Please use the menu to the left to access each section. Enjoy!

What's New?:
AOR has received some major updates recently.
A very big news story is that we have been able to work out the order of the surviving serials. See here for a list and here for an explanation. The Programmes section has also been updated thanks to Ron Geddes. Meanwhile, The Restoration Project has been relaunched after a two and a half year lay-off. The first two serials, A Deadly Gift and The Super Secret Cypher Snatch have now been completed, and visitors can download high quality MP3s of the restored episodes for free in our Free Stuff section.

Current restoration project: Train of Events.
Last update: Sunday 2nd August 2009 (restoration project #18). Restoration completed.

Please note that we welcome comments and information by email.
