For several years, thirteen
of the Sonovision Avengers serials have been available on the
collectors' circuit, but these were not in the best shape. These
are offered by OTR sites and are sourced from multi-generational
originals. In other words, avoid them.
The only place to get
high-quality recordings is here at this site. We have been
donated original off-air tapes
and are restoring them.
We offer these restored recordings completely freely and are return each recording to
the SABC Archives in CD audio format.
If
you see CD or MP3 versions available at eBay or from dealers at
memorabilia events, these are not official products, nor are
they approved by either Canal+, the SABC or this website. We
would ask that you respect the copyright holders' rights and do
not support those exploiting radio serials and the restoration
work undertaken freely by ourselves. No charges are made for any of the restoration work or
distribution of the episodes via our recommended websites. Please do not
abuse this generosity.
