PRODUCTION NOTES "GET-A-WAY!"

Origins:
This serial was based on Get-A-Way!, first broadcast in 1968. The original television script was written by Philip Levene, and the episode featured Patrick Macnee as John Steed and Linda Thorson as Tara King.

Name Changes:
Lieutenant Baxter, one of the prison staff, does not have a definite rank in the TV episode. 

Ezdorf acquires a first name in the radio serial - Martin.

Character Changes:
The character of Tara King on the television episode is replaced with that of Emma Peel on the radio.

It's Good To Talk...
Anticipating mobile phone etiquette, Colonel James screams into his walkie talkie, "I'M AT THE MONASTERY!!!!"

Storyline Changes:
Steed's favoured gun is a Brown & Teeson Magnum - the TV episode claims it is a Smith & Wesson Magnum.

Steed uses Lubin's discarded coat to achieve invisibility in the radio serial - in the TV programme he coats the back of his own suit with the special liquid.
